I know it’s only early December, and that we have not even had Christmas yet, but I have already started planning my holiday for next summer! I was watching a documentary on TV about this guy who lives in a small cottage really far out in the countryside in Germany, and my partner and I just thought it looked so nice that we decided that we would definitely look into going out somewhere similar for a break. Of course, it’s so remote that I think it would be really easy to just lie down and relax, in front of a nice warm roaring fire with a cup of tea. Perfect. And another good thing about the holiday is that it gives us the perfect excuse to do some online shopping to prepare for the trip (yes I know it’s not for a few months yet, but hey, any excuse to do some shopping). I think we’ll probably need to take along lots of warm clothes, because I don’t think these old cottages usually have central heating.
